Нова індустріалізація повинна стартувати з освіти (укр) 
WiSR-IX with the participation of concerned citizens from all over Ukraine took place on 10-13th March 2017 in Bukovyna and was very difficult, but considering the problems, no one counted on the easy answers. How was the intelligent battle going on and will Ukraine succeed in making new industrialization — read on.
WiSR, as every year, was held in the extraordinary tension, not only because of the high intelligence of organizational-activity game, but also because the participants and the experts understood that this game is a chance for the country to model and implement progressive changes, renovate and upgrade old plants, launch new production, revive the industry of the country, achieve modernization of life.
The leader of republicans Pavlo Viknуanskyy at the opening of the event said that its theme is a logical continuation of the previous games of republicans, but means more specification during searching for an alternative course of modernization of Ukraine. Also Viknуanskyy expressed gloomy but objective statistics: ‘Ukraine again took the leader position in the rate of depopulation, migration, HIV-AIDS, tuberculosis, child’s alcoholism, infant and maternal mortality, poverty of population. Polio and diphtheria are back in Ukraine. For Happy Index Ukraine on 123d place in the world. In comparison with 1991 the production of fabrics decreased by almost 92% and output of cars decreased by 96%’. And in the end, he underlined: ‘So, we have ramification: modernization, industry/post-industry, innovatiсs – or fallen eternal power, smoldering and Ukraine as a large village where everyone is constantly arguing’.
From the beginning of the game the main positions were formed: ‘Agro-industrial complex’, ‘Education and science — above all’, ‘Platform of supperinnovation’ that overcoming criticism, survived to the finish. Next, these positions were joined by ‘Studairspace’. The turning-point of intellectual kibbutz was a situation when the country has lost all gold reserves, hopelessly hung in loans and had to make something out of this critical situation, finally the players were able to cope and gather at the last minute and save the country.
The experts of The winter — the leading intellectuals, professionals of various fields: economist and businessman Volodymyr Vlasyuk, philosopher Serhiy Datsyuk, psychologist Denis Zharkih, journalist and prisoner of conscience Ruslan Kotsaba, political philosopher Andrii Okara, economist and historian Volodymyr Panchenko, psychologist and priest Fr Antonii Rudyi — read electives and helped the members. Also during WiSR Skype elective with professor of history Dr. Yakov Rabkin from Montreal University was held. A visit to the Winter Studrespublika was given by ex-member of parliament and Doctor of Economics Valerii Konovaluk in order to present his own concept of restarting the economy.
At the end of the game all the participants were awarded with diplomas, but the most active were marked by gifts — useful and interesting books. Red diplomas with honors, certificate for participation in the Summer finale Studrepublika-2017, gifts from partners WiSR received Olexander Yezhov (Poltava region) and Serhiy Yarovyy (Donetsk region).
The next day in Chernivtsi the participants saw the new industrialization in action by visiting the modern production at the plant Graviton, which produces the wiring for motors of Volkswagen. Then the city tour around Chernivtsi took place.
