Destructiveness is spreading all over the world. In times of severe, endless crisis, growing of hatred and inequality, in mid-rampage of demagogy and populism, it is extremely important not to fall into despair or psychosis, but calmly stop and put a harsh question to ourselves and the environment: why all goes in such way, and how can we improve it together. Republicans not only do it constantly, but they also organize others. Every year concerned Ukrainians — activists, experts, progressive people of different ages and places of living gather for Winter Studrespublika. This is a unique circle of same-minded people who set their knowledge and strength to independently look for answers to very difficult questions that concern everyone. Challenges are special — turbulence encompasses not only our country, but more and more of the world. So, the new solidarity of progressive people through any boundaries is an indispensable condition for stopping demodernization. The breakdown of the country is deepening, crisis phenomena, archaism and reactionaryism cover Europe and the world, imperialist behavior is no longer surprising… Unfortunately, it seems that we get used to the war in the center of Europe and marsh of authoritarian regimes throughout the planet. Old methods, tools of common work badly, do not provide an effective opposition to reactionary and therefore all we need to look for new forms of solidarity. Both in Ukraine and across borders — in Europe and on the Earth.
Thus, the main question — how can we, Ukrainians, be together again? How to restore the coherence of development, progress in overcoming injustice and inequality in Europe? How to stop human destructive strife and move to space level?
At times when the ruling class and a large part of the authorities are engaged in securing the interests of oligarchy and corruption, concerned citizens take responsibility for themselves. We invite everyone of you — to join!
Participation conditions: participation in WiSR-XI is simple. You must pass an online registration on the website of Studrespublika. Then all the registered participants undergo a competitive selection and the best of them will take part in the Winter Studrespublika.
Peculiarities! During the game such methods and tools are used, that will give the opportunity to react on individual and common actions, to immerse in the problems deeply and to find answers to the most difficult questions. It is planned to achieve the effect of full immersion that includes participation in all events completely and prohibition of alcohol. If somebody violates this requirement organizers reserve the right to evict offender without returning the registration fee.
At the end of the event will take place an award party in classic style and winner’s reward ceremony. Showcase your civic solidarity — Take part in WiSR-XI, together we will show the politicians, the state slackers, that everything in the country is solved by the progressive citizens thanks to common intellectual, creative and forceful efforts, we will overcome the crisis and make Ukraine one of the top-20 countries by the standard of living of citizens of the world.
After WiSR, if you wish, you will have the opportunity to rest (nearby there are sauna, skating rink, etc.) and see interesting historical places: the Khotyn fortress, monasteries, parks, museums and more.
