The beginning of a new year Studrespublika signifies with the publication of the annual financial report. The 2014 year was a difficult one, but thankfully to the support of our friends and partners, we managed to do a lot. A large number of projects were held this year and they brought significant benefits and were meaningful and important not only for us but for Ukraine as well.
We’d like to thank the Republicans, participants of all activities and everyday life of Studrespublika, and also partners, friends, supporters who maintain our Common Cause in ideological, organizational and financial way. We publish official data on financial and project indexes of activity of NGO Students’ Republic of 2014.
All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Youth Organization Students’ Republic was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on the 22nd of April, 2006.
During 2014 Students’ Republic implemented series of projects, among which the most resonance are below:
In 2014 the Republicans continued the practice of organization of the public communication with world-class intellectuals. In particular, there was organized Karsten Voigt’s lecture, who is a German politician, in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk.
In 2014 there was launched a new direction of work in Kyiv, Poltava and Chernihiv with the working title The Voluntary Activities, which is the realization of local initiatives (all-day-out mass volunteer territory cleanings, language courses, physical education classes, projects of combat corruption, interlaces of vigilantes etc.) by ordinary activists and supporters of the Republican movement.
Also the organization was a participant and initiator of many public, mass events, including issues about modernization of Ukraine, the constitutional process, the point of civil society, youth and students in it and so on. In the view of the dramatic situation in the country, the Republicans were organizing friendly visits of the Donetsk youth to Lviv, constantly were helping victims of the armed conflict in the Donbas.
The proactive participation of Students’ Republic in a public campaign and victorious lawsuit against the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine regarding a halt to practices of illegal character of the distribution of state funding among all-Ukrainian youth and children’s organizations was resonant.
Thus, in 2014 revenues and expenditures for the implementation of statutory functioning of NGO Students’ Republic were amounted of:
• revenues (excluding the balance of funds on January 1st, 2014): 412 772,87 UAH, incl.:
§as a non-repayable financial assistance of individuals and entities: 411 789,54 UAH; §targeted funding of programs with the state budget: 0,00 UAH; §passive incomes: 983,33 UAH;
• expenditures: 383 776,51 UAH.
